The product is what is claimed by the manufacturer and does function. The main issue is the LCD display. The angle of view is very narrow and the contrast is not very sharp. The result is that you have to be right in front of the display to read it and have a lot of ambient light. This is great if it is right in front of you at eye level but if you are trying to work with something above and below you can't read the display. You also better have the flashlight or droplight right on this to see anything. I don't know how long this will stay in calibration but to re-calibrate if you seem to need precision level surfaces at 0 and 90 degrees.
